Top Italian design powerhouses like Gucci, Prada, and Giorgio Armani revealed their masterworks at Milan’s Fashion Week; hairstylists and make-up artist dolled up the models in true bellissimo fashion.
We Fein Girls want to bring you the hair and make-up looks that had Milan spectators on the edge of their seats. From stunningly vibrant lips to earthy hippie strands, we have a list of the must have looks of Spring 2011.
First, it’s all about the pout, in coral, pink or red; whatever your color may be let it pop! Doesn’t matter whether you prefer a matte or glossy finish; eye-popping lip color is where it’s at. Fendi models strutted in peasant wear balanced with fresh faces and electric pink lips. Gucci girls glowed in orange-red pouts and bronzed skin.
The Hippie-esque long waves of the 60’s and 70’s draped the runways of Roberto Cavalli and Emilio Pucci; these hippie strands are both natural and beautiful and easy to accomplish. It’s all about mastering the natural texture unique to each woman. The natural Bohemian hair can be created by working gel into damp hair, scrunching sections towards the scalp and then barely twisting strands away from the face.
If you’re not a fan of the earthy locks then thank Prada, Versace and Jill Sander for sleek up-dos; that’s right, the classic up-do that will never go out of style. Clean and elegant in its own right, a hair style that anyone can do. For this look we suggest applying strong gel throughout the entire head smoothed down with a comb to create the sleek look. Once smoothed all the way down, pull hair together in a low ponytail and secure into a bun.
Spring 2011 is all about the bronzed beauties, Moschino and Dolce Gabanna sculpted the cheeks and eyes of their models in true radiance. This look is sure to give off a luminous glow that is both sexy and captivating. We hope you enjoy!
Xoxo,
The Fein Girls
