It was always going to be difficult for Christian Dior to make a fresh start after John Galliano was dismissed from his role at the label. I'm not saying that it was as genius as it used to be but Galliano's aesthetic had variated little in the last few seasons. Dior needs to be a referential point like Gaultier and it wasn't. I think this collection is not as traditionally pretty as what we're used to but I love the elements of fun mixed with the New Look. Maybe the execution of the ideas wasn't the best but I still appreciated those ideas.
