With the passing of Labor Day and the cooler weather coming; us New Yorkers are gearing up for fall and of course Fashion Week. It’s quite an exciting time in the already fanatical hustle and bustle of Manhattan. The streets will be jam packed with people lugging trunks of shoes and garments. Along with all the glitz, does come the accolades and tonight is the kickoff!
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund will be honoring designers of both fashion and accessories. History will be made with one of the largest PUBLIC fashion shows at Lincoln Center. Over 150 models will be walking and more then 1,500 people are expected to come and see the hottest trends! All the proceeds from this event will be benefiting the New York City AIDS Fund.
However if you can’t make it out to this event, CBS will be airing the entire show on their website. Remember this is just one of the many outings that will be happening around the city this week! The Fein Girls will be back with all the chic street style updates!
