New Years Eve; It's All About The Dress

"Look for the woman in the dress. If there is no woman, there is no dress"
Coco Chanel

Dresses are the ultimate form of femininity. Rightly so, because few things are as effortlessly chic as the right dress on a woman. And with January 1st right around the corner, it's time to throw on that dress, pop the bubbly, and give a great big salute to 2010 because it is your duty to greet the new year in heart-wrenchingly fabulous style.

New Years Eve is a time for glitz and glam and getting dolled up; fun make-up, cute shoes, the right clutch...and of course, the right dress. Come on ladies, the dress is essential! So now is the time to begin raiding the stores (or your best friend's closet) for that perfect dress that will make you wish every night could be such a glamorous one.

And that brings us to our next topic: glamour, the theme of the year. The whole 1930s, old Hollywood 'pour me another glass of champagne Mr. Gatsby'- thing is very on point, so we encourage you to indulge your fantasies a bit and play along! Red lips, smoky eyes, and a dark manicure go exceptionally well with some of the season's biggest trends that we are seeing among holiday attire.
Lace, metallics, rich colors, sequins, rosettes and zippers are what it is all about, so go a little beyond your normal borders! Buy that dress, rock those heels! And kick off the new year with a bang, because as Coco Chanel also said: "In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different"
