The Curse of Lohan

Remember the good old days? When tights with holes was a no no---(I repeat, a NO. NO. ) ? When runways and photo shoots weren't ruled by plus sized-models? When My So-Called Life was on the air and you wanted to win a date with Jordan Catalano, not Tad Hamilton. When velour jumpsuits with the word 'juicy' on the behind were not socially acceptable? When Prince William was the hot one (Hi Harry!) And finally, when you could buy Emanuel Ungaro at more places than just the Ungaro boutique on Madison.

Those were the days, huh?

Well folks, it seems that the curse of Lohan has struck again, because as if it was not embarrassing enough for both Neiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter to drop Emanuel Ungaro for spring, the Upper East Side boutique Vivaldi, the only other place, besides the store on Madison, where a purchase of anything Ungaro could be made, is now have a 75% off liquidation sale. Are they going out of business? Reps say no, but all signs point to yes.

Which raises a lot of questions in our little Fein Girl minds....like, is Ungaro downsizing? Were orders for the spring collection really THAT bad? Is the fact that Lohan wore an Alexander Wang dress to a Grammys party a not-so-subtle attempt at foreshadow? And MOST importantly. WHY were there no fashion credits for her 18-page spread in MUSE Magazine.

Le sigh.

Okay, there is one more question in my little Fein girl heart: Harry! I'm half British! Fancy a date?
