Hi Ladies,
I feel like over the Holiday Season, with so many gatherings and functions (many of them involving family members not regularly-seen) a girl's sense of style can get a little lost. I mean, amid the dinners and handshakes and glasses of bubbly, there could be some blurring of the lines when it comes to chic and appropriate versus appropriately boring.
As the style maven that I know each and every one of you are, it is important to keep in mind that just because you're making small talk with grandma, doesn't mean that you can let your fashion-guard down. There are many fashion-forward trends right now that, when used properly, can result in a fabulously delicate outfit- one the whole family can enjoy.
And yes, maybe dinner with your three baby cousins is not the time for the vintage black suede thigh-high Armani boots, but it could be just the occasion for something along the lines of a black tulip zipper dress, or a delightful feather headpiece (Lanvin has a great one). The holidays are no time to slink back into fashion oblivion! Embrace your style and who knows, your eccentrically beautiful outfit worn this Thanksgiving might even become the stuff that family legends are made of.
Here are some recommendations to give a little inspiration to your upcoming wardrobe choices :
