Why limit happy to just an hour?

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! But then again, who says happy hour can’t start before 5? This summer, be sure to check out these trendy “mile high” hot spots. Warm weather, chilled cocktails, and breathtaking views, you’ll find yourself sticking around these up-scale bars for more than 60 minutes.

Bar 13 – This laid back Union Square rooftop bar has 2-for-1 happy hour specials and live DJ music every night. (Location: 35 East 13th Street) http://www.bar13.com/tour-13/

High Bar – This chic rooftop oasis is in the heart of the booming development on the West Side. The terrace features sprawling day beds and plush love seats, giving the space the feeling of tranquility. (Location: 251 West 48th Street) http://www.highbarnyc.com/

Plunge Bar & Longue – Located in the meatpacking district, this is one of the fiercest, finest, and most fabulous places to mingle. Although the cocktails and food are pricey, the floor to ceiling windows and wrap-around views are worth your every penny. (Location: 18 Ninth Ave at West 13th Street) http://www.hotelgansevoort.com/restaurants-bars-lounges/index.cfm

230 Fifth – As for our personal favorite, this year-round rooftop offers amazing views of the skyline including the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. It is even partially heated for those chilly New York nights, also offering Snuggies to help keep warm. (Location: 230 Fifth Avenue at 27th Street) http://www.230-fifth.com/

Alcohol may be the road to nowhere, but at least take the scenic route. Xoxo The Fein Girls
