Sex and the City 2

Save the date ladies! “Sex and the City 2” hits theaters May 27th as if you didn’t already know. It’s the perfect excuse for dressing up and hitting the town with your girlfriends. Excitement and anticipation are reaching a fevered pitch as ladies all over are planning to make a night of the film’s premiere with midnight madness screening parties, “Sex and the City” hotspots tours, and fabulous group dinner blowouts.

The ultimate girls’ night out event film is back with fashion extravaganza galore courtesy of Patricia Field who “wasted no chance to beturban and bejewel the ladies to cartoonish extremes” for the Middle Eastern getaway according to Women’s Wear Daily, while displaying a decidedly tempered luxe for the New York scenes. Filming in and around the City created major buzz on the fashion radar as mobs of gawkers (and fashionistas the world over) were treated to a sneak peak of the film’s aspirational yet achievable style parade.

Here’s a look at the leaked fashions and your chance to scoop them up before they’re displayed on the big screen. After that, good luck getting your hands on the soon-to-be coveted goods. We all know the power of the ‘Carrie effect’!

Sarah Jessica Parker wears a white silk deep-v cocktail dress from Halston Heritage with MYKITA Limited Edition Aviator sunglasses, gold Chanel clutch and Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels. SJP was recently named president and chief creative officer of the Halston label.

Cynthia Nixon hits her stride in a skyscraper tall nude pair of the wildly popular YSL Trib Two platform pumps on set as power lawyer/delicious mummy Miranda Hobbes.

Kim Cattrall’s celluloid alter ego Samantha Jones perfects the look of her black silk body-con dress with a VBH python-skin clutch.

Sarah Jessica Parker dons a Halston Heritage electric blue, lurex striped pleated dress. The look is topped off with a gold and diamond pavé four leaf clover necklace which is sure to inspire the next trend in jewelry.
