Ok, for some last night was just October 29th but for one of ours it was their birthday! Most go out to celebrate but we had to make a pit stop before cutting loose. We ran to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and by "ran" we walked as fast as we could in our heels :) We wanted to see a legend ... "Mr. Ruben Toledo" while secretly hoping to spot Isabel ;) We came across a small roadblock which took the form of a "CHECK IN." No biggie we just waited a bit until there was a lot of people and waltz right by ...we looked important teehee. Taking our seats close but not enough to be considered "SwimFans" (CRAZY STALKER LIKE) We waited for a few moments and then to our surprise there stood BOTH OF THEM ... we died. We sat there listening and hanging on every word. We were taken on a journey through fashion history with truly expert guides. Finding out how he creates and she designs was an experience. The crowd asked questions we just pondered the idea of such a great inspiration only feet away.
After the conclusion of the panel, we rushed the stage to have works of art created before our eyes inside our newly reinvented classic books. (SEE ABOVE PHOTO) This night was magical! We can't wait for the next series of books to hit the shelves! (Dracula, Jane Eyre, The Picture of Dorian Gray)
