Winds from Africa

Western fascination with African design has come and gone in various gusts for the better part of a century. Picasso and Kandinsky were into tribal motifs, as now is Jean Paul Gaultier and singer, M.I.A.

Take a peek at how designers and artists have made a habit of drawing on African-influences throughout the years.
